Supreme Grand Champion Skeemen Veresk of HowlingCoyote, a fabulous ruddy Somali male from Moscow, is the TICA Second Best of Breed 2016-17. He is the 18th Best South Central Regional Cat /6th Best Longhair, and Best Somali. He fathered TWO litters in late spring.
Champion Lanacats Ratibor of HowlingCoyote, a super ruddy male, just out of kittenhood, also came to us from Russia. He is TICA Best of Breed Kitten 2016-17, and he is the South Central Regional 22nd Besst Kitten of the Year. He has already started on the climb to Supreme Grand Champion, but we let Malta take the limelight this year.
QGC Skeemen Morkovka of HowlingCoyote, also from Moscow. She is the hottest cinnamon you’ll see,. In 2014-15, she was the Second Best Somali kitten and BEST Somali in the South Central Region and the International 17th Best Somali in a field of 50. Morkovka is the proud mother of a litter of four, including HowlingCoyote Meet Me in Malta, with father Twister. She delivered a litter of four with Veresk on June 30, 2017 and another on December 28, 2017.
Quadruple Grand Champion HowlingCoyote Meet Me in Malta, a cinnamon male, is our own breeding. He has the usual cinnamon stick color now, despite being the color or a manilla envelope for his fist few month, and fooling many other Somali and Aby breeders with his color when asked for an opinion. His color was genetically tested by UC Davis and just confirmed as cinnamon. He is TICA 5th Best of Breed Kitten 2016-17. He currently is TICA 2nd BOB for 2017-2018m with a month left in the season..
SGC Mysticpaws Bizzy Bee of HowlingCoyote has joined our family from her former home at Bayoufoxes. She is a gorgeous Cinnamon Silver. Kittens with Veresk were born May 29, 2017 and Febuary 22, 2018..
Supreme Grand Champion Bayoufoxes Twister of HowlingCoyote, a blue Somali, and son of the famous IW SGC Hillstblues Blazing Orange Cloud of Bayoufoxes and Ch. Mightmagic Jazzy NOLA of Bayoufoxes.He was the 2013-2014 14th Best Cat in TICA South Central Region, and was the SECOND BEST SOMALI in TICA that year, which includes cats on five continents.
Supreme Grand Champion Alter HowlingCoyote Martha My Dear, a RUDDY Somali. She was the International Cat Association’s 2012-2013 FOURTH BEST SOMALI and FIFTH BEST SOMALI KITTEN. This is an association which covers over 60 countries! After putting her show career on hold to be a mama for a few years, she has been spayed and is now showing this season as an alter. She won six finals in her first alter show. She is making a run for an international breed win. She has been in and out of the Top 3 the whole season.

LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT SGM Zoompurr of HowlingCoyote, an INTERNATIONAL WINNER HHPK and Regional Winner HHP. He is a cream mackerel tabby, adopted from the Kansas Humane Society in Wichita at a TICA show. He claimed another South Central HHP Regional Win in 2016-2017.
Lucy Firefly Chai, a Blue Torbie and White HHP is expected to earn a TICA International Household Pet Kitten Top 25 award this year. She is 19th with a month to go in the season. She was found under a palate behind a grocery store in Freestone County, TX. She was probably scavenging with mama and became separated. She was 6-8 weeks old when found.

We had to say goodbye to Champion HowlingCoyote Lucky Clover, a ruddy Abyssinian in March 2017 She produced some wonderful kittens for us, including Martha, Bergamot, and Kingston. She is now with her other kitty friends and relations across the bridge.
QGCA HowlingCoyote Bergamot Blew, a blue Aby, joined his mama, Clover, less than two weeks later, and far, far too soon. (Totally unrelated causes.) It was a very sad spring 2017 for us.
We had losses Spring 2019 of RW SGM Meshuge Mismash of HowlingCoyote, SC Region 11th Best HHP 2006 and Rosie Bella, a sweet Tortishell born in 2001.
